Jen Sheaffer

The Story of a Photographer

In 2009, Jen began her photography journey capturing friends and family. She quickly fell in love with the tiniest humans. She spent years as a bedside nurse so she has the knack for caring for others and works towards excellence in all she does. She is a learner and a lover of people, nature, and details. Jen is married to her best friend, Jason (who she loved since the 3rd grade!) and has 4 children, 3 son in laws, 1 daughter in law and is a Grammy to 5 babies under 4 and One on the Way this September 2026! This has been a change of season for her life as she slows down to focus heavily on family time (she and Jason just became official empty nesters in October 2025!) and her business. In her downtime, you will find her reading about WWII or some historical fiction books, buying way too many iced coffees at local businesses, gardening (keeping up with her 10 acres of flowers, grass and lots of weeds, walking on new trails listening to worship music, or connecting with friends--she LOVES to talk! Her and Jason love to spend time at their cabin in Lycoming Co. with their kids (and alone!) and their Doodles, Oakley and their newest white with brown spotted mini doodle, Annie! Sunday is their date night and you can find them exploring Lancaster's and Lebanon's best restaurants and hopefully taking a nice stroll.

Jen is an award winning professional newborn photographer. Her clients book during their pregnancy to ensure they receive a spot on her due date calendar. Many of her clients return for their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and in 2025 she hit her 6th and 7th newborn (twins!...and all boys!)
