Mackenzie was baby #2 for Tina and Stephen. She was born June 20th @ 8:51am. We had her in the studio just a week later for her session. She has gorgeous dark hair that we enjoyed styling with our baby brush. Tammy takes her time to make sure those details are ready for my (Jen) camera to capture the very best images. We think it is the tiny details that set us a part from other photographers. We've learned, over the years to take our time, pose gently, guide those tiny fingers in to the perfect sleepy position and get that perfect shot.
Mackenzie's mommy wanted the 'girl' colors since her first baby was a boy. We gathered beautiful vintage natural colors like pinks, lavenders, white and soft blushes to stylize her session. We used some new lavender florals, and a white crocheted vintage blanket that we got from Fleamarketforager that we found on Instagram. This vendor has such a variety of home items and blankets that we snagged some classic blankets. We will use some for an upcoming maternity lifestyle session. (Interested in one of these? We are excited to offer a few session like this per month so contact us.) The peach lace romper from No.2 Willow Lane was new for our studio and she looked so sweet posed in that. Some of the wraps we used are from Avonli Baby and Sugar Baby Photo Props. They have beautiful wraps and matching headbands and sleepy caps. We've been using more vintage colors, textiles, headbands and hats lately to capture these tiny ones in a natural way. We hope you enjoy some of our favs from Mackenzie's final newborn gallery.
