Our Newborn Experience

When searching for a Newborn Photographer, look at all the fine details. Do they pose with excellence in mind? Do you see the best features of a newborn like their precious face, tiny fingers and toes? Do they look natural and snuggled up in a cozy position? When it comes to posing newborns, it has taken us years to perfect our art. That reflects in your investment and in your final portfolio of images. We provide all props, backdrops, and style your session with exquisite detail. Read our testimonials and our Google reviews that our clients have posted based on their experience. Our hope is that we become friends and you love your experience at Mariposapix!

Our clients typically pre-book their newborn session after their 20 week ultrasound. Their due date goes on our calendar, along any requests or styles they love. We send them our newborn magazine to prepare for their session. Once their precious baby arrives, we schedule their exact time/date of session within 7-14 days of birth. We pre-book 4-5 due dates per month so it's always recommended to book early. Each package contains different amounts of setups but each setup includes multiple angles, props and posing to give you a variety of images. All of our packages include digital images and some include additional items such as prints, print credits, canvas, and keepsakes. Our newborn clients typically spend between $500-$1500 with additional keepsakes. Our Investment Page provides the general details on package options. Payment plans are available for Deluxe and Heirloom Packages only. Check our investment page for Q&A prior to booking. Please contact us to start the conversation about preserving this precious time!

"I met Jen about 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. Throughout the years, Jen has photographed my family. I couldn’t thank her enough for capturing each one of my babies as newborns and giving us these beautiful photos to look back on. There is absolutely no one else that I would trust to capture my fragile newborn."
